In Menton, the calculation of the total city tax for a reservation is a proportional non-fixed amount calculated using the following formula:
Total amount to be collected for a stay = (Number of adults) x (Number of nights of the stay) x (Variable rate of the city tax*)
*The Variable rate of the city tax corresponds to 5.00% of the pre-tax cost of the night(1), capped at 4.00 € + additional taxes(2).
(1) Pre-tax cost of the night = Pre-tax accommodation price for the stay / Number of nights of the stay / Number of occupants
(2) Additional taxes = 34% of the city tax

Exceptionally, due to current conditions, in 2023 our customers will be able to cancel their booking without penalty until 3 days before the arrival.
